All team members have deep healthcare and employee benefits expertise. Each person brings a unique set of skills to ensure that edHEALTH is the preferred healthcare solution for your faculty, staff, and family members.
A. Tracy Hassett
A. Tracy Hassett, SPHR, is the President and CEO of edRISK (a sponsored captive) and edHEALTH, a group of educational institutions providing greater health-care-related savings and services through group purchasing, ownership, and data-driven programs. Tracy reports to the Boards of Directors and is responsible for the overall performance of edRISK and its three programs: edHEALTH, edLIABILITY, and edPROPERTY.
Before edHEALTH, Tracy was the first Vice President of Human Resources for Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and rose through the HR ranks over nine years, assuming the Vice President position in 2007. While Tracy was working at WPI, she joined Boston Consortium higher education finance executives who were looking for a solution to the healthcare cost conundrum. In 2015, when edHEALTH’s Board of Directors determined they needed a full-time employee, they turned to Tracy. She was named president and CEO on September 1, 2015. Passionate about finding innovative ways to bend the healthcare cost curve, Tracy relishes the impact edHEALTH continues to make in this arena.
She recently completed serving two terms as chair of the Board of Directors of The Vermont Captive Insurance Association, the trade association that promotes the captive insurance industry in Vermont. Tracy was also named one of Captive Review's Top 20 captive owners in 2023 and 2024.
Tracy and her husband very much enjoy living along Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay with their two Labrador Retrievers. Whenever they can, they travel to see their three adult children.
